I'm a 25-year-old journalist, who loves covering politics and government issues and connecting with readers through social media.
I grew up around the Midwest, and by the age of 19, I'd lived in seven states: Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, Michigan and Idaho.
During my four years at Michigan State University, I spent six semesters at The State News - the last semester as the editor in chief.
I also interned at The (Fargo, N.D.) Forum, Newsday's Washington bureau and The Oklahoman. I graduated from Michigan State in August 2009 with bachelor's degrees in journalism and political science/prelaw.
Upon graduation, I joined the staff of The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead as a news reporter - where I primarily cover government and political issues.
