Intern, Metro News | Covered two military funerals, and filled in for the cops and courts
reporter for three weeks. Developed skills in audio recording and computer-assisted and online
reporting. Managed and executed coverage of 2007 Fargo AirSho, an assignment usually given
to a full-time reporter. About 40 of 85 stories during internship were published on Page One.

of student education programs and an overhaul of journalism curricula in the face of severe

Internship site administrator | Established the school’s first online internship listing to
