I was one of two City Desk interns for The Oklahoman in the summer of 2008. During my internship, my work included everything from reporting breaking news to executing comprehensive Page One multimedia packages for print and online (which included video, audio and/or blog entries). One such package was named a National Finalist for online feature reporting in the 2008 SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards.

June 20, 2008 - "Intern Perspectives" podcast (NewsOk.com): The Oklahoman's summer 2008 interns produced podcasts (as well as maintained a newsroom blog) as our intern class project.
